Essential for every project
A realistic timetable is one of the keys to successful results. For this, it is essential to take into account all the different stages of a project: product selection, placing orders and delivery planning. In addition, delivery time is generally between 4 and 8 weeks.
By planning in advance and setting aside plenty of time, you avoid ending up with rushed decisions. This provides a good basis for a successful project.
Selecting the right products
Feeling uncertain about your choices? It is often possible to view, touch, try out and examine products at our showrooms throughout the Nordic region.
Another tip is to invest in stages. Is it feasible to purchase a single chair, balance ball or beanbag to determine how well the product functions for your specific site?
Optimise your budget
Invest where it will make a difference! A number of products, such as chairs, can often be updated – by re-coating the frame, re-covering the seat or something as simple as replacing floor protector pads. Update where possible and invest in what will deliver the greatest benefit.
However, do not skimp on quality – furniture should stand up to many years of use, numerous classes, children with differing needs and teachers with varied working methods. Go for flexible and ergonomic solutions that will be useful over the long term.
Positive acoustics
All the choices you make will have an impact on the acoustic environment of the particular space. There are lots of simple measures that can be implemented. Think about the actual furniture materials and functions to help reduce noise. Chairs with castors reduce scraping noises, while sound-absorbing desk tops help to keep noise to a comfortable level in classrooms. In addition, there are of course many different sound absorber options to choose from.
Technology in the classroom
Nowadays, digital tools such as tablets and projectors are common features in our classrooms. And progress is rapid. AV technology and interactive whiteboards are being introduced and are popular with many people.
Remember that this new technology requires flexible interior design solutions to support digital working methods. Storage units for mobile phones and tablets can be a useful addition.
